March webinar - review of 2021 and updated forecasts

By Chris Sleight |  17 January 2022

Off-Highway Research will hold a webinar on Tuesday 29th March to review global sales and production of construction equipment in 2021 and to present its updated forecasts for 2022-2026. The hour-long event will start at 10.00 am EST/3.00 pm BST/ 4.00 pm CET.

As well as hearing from Off-Highway Research’s experts around the world, attendees will receive an exclusive post-event report.

Off-Highway Research Managing Director Chris Sleight said, “2021 saw the industry aorund the world bounce back from the impacts of the Covid pandemic with surprising vigour. Demand for equipment was extremly high across the globe, and overall we may have seen record sales.

"However, this high demand combined with the post-Covid industrial ramp-up presented challenges. Supply chains and logistics networks were stretched, making it hard for any suppliers to meet demand from their customers. Undoubtedly sales could have been higher without the difficulties seen in producing mahcines and getting them to customers."

As well as providing a global overview, the Off-Highway Global Briefing will include regional focusses on the key markets of China, Europe, India and North America. Joining Chris Sleight to discuss these regions will be SHI Yang, Off-Highway Research’s Director of Research in China and Samir Bansal, General Manager of Off-Highway Research India.

The March event is the latest in a series of webinars from Off-Highway Research, which are attended by hundreds of industry professionals around the world.

“Off-Highway Research’s clients will be aware that every March we issue our main data update, with final figures for the previous years and an extension of our forecast,” said Sleight. “This webinar has been timed to coincide with that, and so attendees will be among the first to see our latest figures and will benefit from an exclusive discussion of the driving factors. They will also receive a post-event report which will only be made available to webinar attendees, which will allow them to further analyse and digest the information presented.”

Off-Highway Research clients can book to attend the webinar using a discount code which will be e-mailed to them and which is available on request. This provides significant savings on the standard registration fee of €150/US$180.
